For over forty years the Silver Starlite Orchestra has been delighting a growing fanbase of dancers, diners, and listeners in the New York / New Jersey / Pennsylvania region who share the band’s passion for classic Big Band music, as well as some of the best selections from newer artists and genres.

Live performances are back!
After a year and a half of shutdown brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to be back performing together as a group again! We invite you to join us when we are performing in your area.
New director, new directions
Silver Starlite Orchestra’s founder and 40-year director, Dot Cacchio, has retired. Stepping up to the podium to take her place is our long-time lead trombonist Nancy Petrucelli (herself recently retired from teaching school). Nancy plans to build on all the excellent work that Dot has done, plus add some new touches of her own. Be sure to come out and hear the band over the coming months as Nancy’s musical vision takes shape.
